Getting Rad in AK

aaa.jpg

So it's ground hog day in the Tordrillos once again, with over 2 weeks of time spent here most of witch has been chillin in the lodge and only 5 more possible fly days left, needless to say we are praying for just one more blue day. However we have had a bit of good weather and took full advantage, freeskiing and checking the snow pack every time the clouds lifted enough to fly. The morning of our best day out we were looking for a smaller face to check the stability and warm up our ski legs. What we found was a 800ft northeast face that was riddled with amazing spines and features. After we decided that the stability was manageable and the snow was all time we set up for what was to be the best morning of skiing I had all year. When the morning was done we had set tracks down every possible line on the face and were confident to step it up for the afternoon. We set off to look for bigger stuff, but the winds picked up and the clouds came in sending us home wanting more. Our hit list is stacked and we are ready to tee off, with the forecast as a question mark we are confident that the chance to get some of the best lines of our lives will come before our time here is done.
