How to Workout As You Travel Internationally

If you are looking to stay in good physical condition, you like me know that you need to exercise on a regular basis. Unfortunately, many people will find that it is very challenging to exercise in some situations. One situation in which it can be challenging to exercise is if you are traveling internationally. While it can be difficult to find time to exercise while you are abroad for business or pleasure, there are several tips that you can follow that can help you do follow your workout schedule while you are abroad.

Know Your Goals

Before going away for your trip, it is important that you carefully consider your fitness goals. When wondering how long does it take to gain muscle or lose body fat, you should carefully consider your personal situation and where you want to get to. This will help you to fully recognize your goals, which can help you to stay dedicated and motivated when you are on the road.

Plan Your Schedule

When you are traveling to a different country, you likely will have a very busy schedule that you will need to stick to. When you are looking to plan your schedule for your international trip, you should make sure that you build in time that will allow you to exercise. If you are able to set aside even 30 minutes per day to get your heart rate up, you will be able to stick to your goals and not lose any progress.

Choose Right Hotels

If you are trying stay in shape while you are traveling internationally, you need to pick the right hotels. When you are going to a major city across the world, you will likely have many hotels to choose from. When you are trying to pick the right one, you should look for one that offers you a fitness center. If you are looking in a more rural location, fitness centers may be hard to come by, which could require more research.

Find Alternative Exercises

If you may want to find a gym in your hotel, this might not always be a practical solution or option for you. In these situations, you should consider other alternative exercise options to stay fit. For example, there are a wide variety of exercise programs that you can complete in your hotel without any equipment at all. Another option would be to explore the area that you are going to be staying in. There may be some great areas where you could do some hiking or running, which would allow you to see the foreign land will also staying fit.

Get Active With Locals

When you are looking to stay fit, you should also consider trying to stay active by spending more time with locals. When you are in a new area, you should seek out activities that are being offered by local residents. These can include some pickup sports, walking tours, and other activities that can help you get in some good exercise. All of these options can help you to burn some calories.

Pack Right

How you pack for your trip will have a big impact on how well you are able to exercise. When you are trying to exercise on a trip, you will want to make sure that you bring a good pair of running shoes, fitness clothes, and other accessories. You should also consider bringing a set of resistance bands that can be used to complete some good exercises in your hotel. This can help you to stay on track with your exercise program.

Ultimately, whether or not you are able to stick to your exercise schedule when you are away is up to you. If you are looking to stay in shape even when traveling, you will need to stay dedicated and focused on your goals. Doing this will help to ensure you stay motivated and dedicated to get to the gym.

Bros Bearly Survive Bruin Break-In

My favorite part about bear videos this summer have been the screams. After the reactions in this video of a bear opening a car door in Yellowstone, I didn't think that I would hear a male voice at a higher pitch. I was wrong. When Rodney Ginn realizes his Mammoth Lakes, CA home has been broken into by a mama bear and her two cubs, he pretty much just loses it (rightly so).  RELATED: Bear Officially Out-Evolves Yellowstone Tourists, Opens Car Door The mother bear charges Rodney up the stairs,

The 7 Best Parts Of X Games Austin, Behind The Scenes

This past weekend I had the privilege of traveling to Austin, Texas for the 2016 Summer X Games at the Circuit of the Americas. I was excited for the opportunity because ESPN had announced that this was going to be the last time that the X Games were going to be in Austin, where it has been held for the past three years.  I grew up watching action sports and recall seeing faces like Tony Hawk, Dave Mirra and Bob Burnquist tear it up on television, but being there firsthand to see what these
