Wildlife sightings are a cool experience- from a distance. Getting chased by an angry momma-moose while you're casually ripping through some trees is a significantly less cool experience. There have been several moose spotted roaming throughout Jackson Hole, so be cautious as you're out there enjoying the powder.

"Yeah, I spent most of my morning chasing moose out of the base area on a snowmobile," said a JHMR Ski Patroller. It's unfortunate that the moose have to be chased, but it's understandable from a safety standpoint, given the recent mass influx of visitors to the area.
