Moose may look like gentle giants, but they can be very dangerous, aggressive, and fast. A snowboarder at Breckenridge Ski Resort learned this the hard way when she and her friends got chased down by a large bull moose this weekend. Should you ever encounter a moose on the slopes or out hiking, simply give it space to avoid a dangerous interaction.

I’ve had a bull moose charge out of the trees while skiing and bolted in front of me and down my line tracking up all my fresh powder. Watch out for those powder poaching moose.
