Sunday River Scheduled to Open This Saturday

Exciting news for all of our East Coast brethren: Sunday River is scheduled to open this Saturday, November 9th. Temperatures have been cold enough to run the guns, and SR's snowmaking staff have been working hard to get a suitable ribbon of death put together.

RELATED: Killington is Open for the Season

Their opening will bring the total East Coast ski resorts open for the season to two, which doesn't sound like much, but is still more skiing than we've got here in the Wy-daho zone. That said, we're approaching opening day for a number of resorts in the Rockies, so the tables will turn soon enough.
