The National Weather Service has projected that the storm will impact Colorado throughout Monday and into Tuesday, with the low-end forecast still calling for five inches of snow around Vail and four around Silverton. In the more optimistic high-end forecast, significant snowfall will impact the western half of the state, dropping a predicted 16 inches on both the Vail and Silverton areas.

Holy moly! That's a late-season dump for sure. NWS graphic.
