Man Dies From Snow Immersion Suffocation at Timberline

A 42-year-old skier died at Timberline Lodge and Ski Area on Saturday, February 23rd, according to resort officials.  They posted the following press release on their Facebook page:

When skiing deep snow in treed areas one should be mindful of the danger posed by tree wells.  For more information, see the video below:
