Joey Campanelli Smashes Nolan’s 14 Fastest Known Time

For those unaware, Nolan's 14 is an ultrarun in Colorado, traversing 14 14ers in the Sawatch Range. While there is no firmly established route, previously completed runs gain about 44,000 feet of elevation over around 100 miles, with about half of the route being off-trail.

On July 1st and 2nd, 2020, 33-year-old Joey Campanelli ran Nolan's 14 in 41 hours, handily breaking both the unsupported and supported records, which were 49:38 and 46:48, respectively. To read Joey's blog about his run, check out his Blogspot here, and for more information on Nolan's 14 check out this video from Black Diamond:
