This change will kick off the upcoming winter season which officially begins on December 6th with tickets available on the resort’s website, as part of the Ikon Pass, as well as on Amazon. There are two ticket package options available, the first of which prioritizes flexibility: Five-packs of day passes are available for $399 which are valid on any day during the season. Skiers can also purchase these on Crystal’s website on a rechargeable card for ease of use that also reduces waste per customer. The second option focuses primarily on value, offering three day passes for $199, although these tickets do have holiday blackout dates and can only be used mid-week. Crystal’s day pass packs purchased from Amazon allow the customer to have their tickets within 24 to 48 hours and skip ticket lines altogether. Customers will also be able to purchase passes in the parking lot while waiting for their shuttle to the mountain this year as an additional incentive to cut down on time spent in ticket lines.
As Amazon continues to expand into different market segments, it will be interesting to see if other resorts follow Crystal Mountain’s example in the coming years.
