The road was temporarily closed on Thursday after a mudslide at mile post 15, and an 8 inch crack in the roadway at mile post 12.8.
On Saturday morning, WYDOT and Evans Construction crews had been working overnight to handle both of the issues when “the landslide continued to move, taking out the whole road.”
Nobody was hurt in the landslide and no equipment was damaged.
