When it rains it pours--or slides in this case. Yesterday, a massive rockslide came careening down the hill in Rocky Mountain National Park. The south face of a popular climbing spot, Hallett Peak, came crumbling down out of nowhere. Area local Ryan Albert was lucky enough to be standing there but out of the way and capture this insane video of it. At this point, no injuries or missing people have been reported but climbers are still advised to stay out of the area.

According to Jackson Hole News and Guide, Teton County has identified the 22-year-old downing victim who died in a floating incident on the Snake River in Jackson, WY on Monday afternoon as Hector Bedolla-Zarate. During a large thunderstorm on the evening of Tuesday, August 2, a 22-year-old man was killed after lightning struck his tent in the Teton Wilderness. The man was camping near Enos Lake with a group of 14 backpackers, one of whom also sustained major injuries.
