Black Diamond Equipment has issued a voluntary recall on select carabiners, quickdraws and nylon runners.
According to the recall certain non-locking carabiners have gate rivets that may not be properly manufactured, potentially resulting in the gate coming unattached. In addition, certain locking carabiners' locking sleeves could have been manufactured incorrectly, resulting in a carabiner that does not lock properly.
