Teton Gravity Research launches 2021 TGR Optics line, announces athlete team headlined by rising star Kai Jones and veteran athlete Griffin Post.
Season two of TGR’s ski and snowboard goggles and sunglasses is now available at tetongravity.com/optics and TGR retail locations. Featuring MI3 technology and Zeiss lenses, TGR Optics are athlete tested and designed for maximum protection and superior vision.

Jackson, Wyoming - February 3, 2021 – Teton Gravity Research, the global leader in action sports, adventure and outdoor media, is excited to announce the season two launch of TGR Optics, the brand’s best-in-class, athlete tested offering of ski and snowboard goggles, plus TGR Sun Optics sunglasses. With the product release comes the announcement of the official TGR Optics athlete team, with rising star Kai Jones headlining the roster alongside fellow athletes Griffin Post, Mikey Marohn and Dash Longe. Rounding out the team are Brolin Mawejje, Tanner Rainville, and the TGR Grom Squad featuring Jackson Hole locals Luke Gentry, Tucker Carr, Wyatt Gentry, and Grand Targhee locals Cade Walz, Cooper Watson and Garret Walz.

After years of working with the finest Zeiss camera optics in the world, and pushing the limits of sport, TGR has now taken another massive step to deliver the next frontier of visual experiences with TGR Optics premium eyewear. Tested by TGR's athletes and crew, the products have been subjected to the most extreme conditions by the best athletes in the world. The athlete team will don the TGR Optics line during filming, competition and freeriding sessions throughout the winter, highlighting the importance of TGR's athlete-tested mantra in the continued development of their new high performance goggle and sunglass products.

“See the world through our lens” is the ethos driving TGR Optics, and in collaboration with Carl Zeiss Sunlens, TGR has designed, developed and tested new sonar technology to push visions and dreams into the future. This ultimate snow lens technology, Sonar by Zeiss, was designed for TGR with a contrast enhancement filter developed to brighten snow details and boost depth perception. Sonar technology by Zeiss is an all-round lens solution that helps improve performance with the world's best visual clarity.

TGR Optics are available in two frame styles; the Uprising cylindrical goggle and the Further toric goggle, designed for maximum protection, comfort and superior vision. Each style is available with multiple goggle strap and lens options. The goggles feature magnetic interchangeable MI3 technology offering secure and easily changed lenses, triple layer face foam for fit and comfort, and both frame styles provide superior field of view and mitigate optical distortion in any condition.
