Reliving 2017 With Our Favorite Photos

2017 was a banner year for all of us here at Teton Gravity Research.

We released Proximity, Rogue Elements and Life of GlideWe had our biggest film tour ever, and launched the Stokemobile–our touring mobile TGR experience. And, of course, we might have thrown a party or two.

Through it, our main man Nic Alegre was behind the camera to capture it all. So, we through Nic's archives of photos and selected some of our favorites from the past 365 days. Have a look at some of our 2017 highlights, and here's to a Happy New Year from our family to yours.

Casey Brown drops into Corbet's for a historic first descent.

TGR co-founder Todd Jones gets after it with Kai Jones.

Never pass up an opportunity to kick back and relax.

Johnny Collinson, Sam Smoothy and Nick McNutt enjoy a cold one aboard the "Island Pride" in Alaska.

Some things simply look better in black and white.

Nick McNutt with an interesting approach to dropping in.

Johnny Collinson gets a quick lift up.

We travel a lot for our movies, but our home town of Jackson, Wyoming is as pretty as anywhere on Earth.

Sometimes, the immensity of the mountains we play in can help keep everything in perspective.

Sam Smoothly found some untouched snow up high.

Johnny Collinson went for it in 2017. We're sure he'll do the same in 2018.

About The Author

stash member Robert Pursell

Connecticut journalism transplant who enjoys telling stories, drinking beer and skiing, though not necessarily in that order. I have the annoying habit of petting other people's dogs without asking.

You had such an active year! I couldn’t believe it. But honestly, for me, it’s easier to find cheap research papers for sale rather than skiing or climbing the top of the mountain.  I am very careless in such things and I am scared because of this.
