The TGR tour is in full swing, with sold out crowds around the country getting hyped for winter with our new ski and snowboard film 'Make Believe' on screens at the drive-in, outdoor events, or socially distanced indoor premieres.
This Saturday saw the launch of our more intimate screenings, as the TGR WhiSKI Series kicked off with a hometown event at the Jackson Hole Rodeo. Now in its fourth year, the WhiSKI Series is our small batch experience that pairs the premiere of our new film with an athlete and/or production team Q&A, gift bags, (including custom YETI Ramblers and 3 months of our new TGR Premium platform) and more. The first WhiSKI Series of the year featured a Q&A with TGR athletes Griffin Post and Caite Zeliff alongside Make Believe editor Charlotte Percle, and took place in an idyllic socially distanced outdoor setting in the heart of Jackson Hole.
WhiSKI Series attendees in Jackson Hole were treated to a welcome beer from our partners at Sierra Nevada, as well as a Wyoming Whiskey tasting and information session. Participants learned about the different varieties of bourbon, the distillation process and more.
For the same reason that TGR calls Jackson Hole home, Wyoming Whiskey’s varieties are a direct result of the incredible environment they come from. Their whiskey is paired with regional ingredients, local water, and a maturation process that leverages our warm summers and cold winters to push the whiskey through the charred oak barrels and create the great flavor that Wyoming Whiskey is known for. Learn more about Wyoming Whiskey and their story here.
As the worldwide tour for Make Believe continues, so does the more intimate WhiSKI Series, with upcoming events in:
- Denver, CO (October 7 at Ironton Distillery - outdoors)
- Missoula, MT (October 9 at Missoula PaddleHeads Ballpark - outdoors)
- Oakland, CA (October 9 at Bruns Amphitheatre - outdoors)
- Boulder, CO (October 15 at Boulder Theater)
