Jackson Hole Bike Park Reopens June 7

JHMR is back in business.

After a classic Jackson Hole winter (deep), the mountains are finally thawing—and Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) is flipping the switch for summer.

The Jackson Hole Bike Park officially reopens Saturday, June 7, kicking off the season with a full range of lift-served trails that cater to every style and skill level. From hand-cut berms to rocky chutes and jump lines, JHMR’s lower-mountain network is primed for riders to shake off the off-season rust.

Lower mountain access via the Teewinot lift will get you to a mix of flow trails, tabletop jumps, pump tracks, and adaptive-access singletrack. The Sweetwater Gondola opens for upper-mountain riding June 7–8, with full time operations for both lifts starting Friday, June 13.

On-site bike rentals, youth summer camps, and private MTB coaching are all available—including adaptive handcycle and recumbent rentals, which are included with a lesson. Whether you’re charging double blacks or just learning to drop your heels, Jackson’s got the goods for you.

Keep an eye out for Ladies' Laps, a weekly Thursday clinic running from June 15 to September 8. Each session will focus on one of four downhill skills (Jumps, Steep Descents, Cornering, Roots and Rocks), as well as offer an opportunity to connect with other 18+ female identifying riders in the community.

Can’t let winter go? There’s still snow lingering up high. Backcountry access via the tram gates is still open, but all inbounds terrain is officially closed for the season, and no patrol services are in effect. Skis are allowed on the tram—but not on the gondolas, so plan accordingly.

And it’s not just bikes coming back to life. Jackson Hole’s summer dining scene is also spinning back up, with mountain-view meals and après vibes returning across the hill.

- Corbet’s Cabin is open daily for waffles and coffee at 10,450 feet.

- The Deck, Off-Piste Market, and Tram Dock Bar are serving up tacos, pizza, local brews, and sweeping Teton views.

- Piste Bistro’s signature sunset dinners return starting June 15—perfect for golden hour indulgence after a full day on dirt.
