A new wave park is slated to open in Scottsdale, Arizona in 2021, making dreams come true for Rick Kanes all over the world. But mostly just in Arizona. The new 11-acre attraction, called Monsoon Park, will generate 1,000 waves per hour and will be able to entertain an astounding 90-100 surfers at a time.

The park will also boast running and biking tails, a putting green, volleyball courts, as well as a gym. To surf bums' delight, there will be epic cornhole tournaments held at the park as well. Rejoice, oh ye landlocked Arizona surfers, for your time has come.
