December 18th 2023 saw what some locals are calling the biggest waves surfed in New Jersey's history. It is pretty mind blowing to see waves of this size on the East Coast. It looks a heck of a lot more like Hawaii than the Jersey Coast. It is December in New Jersey, so the water is frigid.  The surfers are running 5/4 wetsuits, which makes their feat even more impressive. Kudos to filmer Ryan Mack for capturing this incredible swell.
