When Whistler's WeiTien Ho joined up with us as a TGR Optics Global Team rider last year, we knew the young Canadian rider could shred, but nobody quite knew exactly what he was capable of. After filming some insane riding in the Whistler backcountry earlier this season, WeiTien set his sights very high during the ongoing freeride competition season. With several top-notch results on the North American comp circuit including some mind-blowing sends at Washington's Crystal Mountain, he showed up for the invite-only 4* Freeride World Qualifier Finals in Snowbird, Utah and took home the win, landing him a coveted spot on the 2024 Freeride World Tour. Needless to say, proper celebrations were had.
A dream come true to qualify for the FWT next season. Have looked up to the FWT crew for awhile now, so it feels surreal to be joining them next year, and makes it that much better to join my brutha Marcus. Already excited for what next season has in store!
