How to Watch the Sun Valley World Cup Finals In Person
The Warm Springs Base Area will serve as the hub for all races, with courses finishing near the Challenger Lift. While VIP and grandstand tickets are sold out, free viewing areas are available along the course and at the finish corral.
For upper mountain spectator access, skiers can ride the River Run Lift to Lookout Express, but a valid lift ticket or season pass is required.
Athletes to Watch at the Sun Valley World Cup Finals
Mikaela Shiffrin will headline the slalom finale on March 27, closing out a season where she rebounded from an early crash in Killington to claim victories in Sestriere, Italy, and a podium in Are, Sweden. Already the most decorated alpine skier in history, Shiffrin is expected to put on a dominant slalom performance.
Breezy Johnson will be a top contender in the downhill event on March 22. Known for her speed, she recently secured a podium finish in Kvitfjell, Norway.
Lindsey Vonn’s return to competitive skiing has been one of the season’s biggest surprises. At 40, the four-time overall World Cup champion will race in both downhill and super-G, marking a remarkable comeback for one of the sport’s all-time greats.
Lauren Macuga represents the next generation of U.S. Ski Team talent. The 22-year-old claimed her first World Cup victory in St. Anton’s super-G and followed it up with a second-place downhill finish in Kvitfjell.
