TGR and Oakley have teamed up for a trip to Ripley Creek based in Stewart British Columbia. Stewart is a small town in northern BC, that borders Alaska. The heli operation is run by Last Frontier Heliskiing, who runs the Bell 2 Lodge that we ventured to last year. On hand this year are Seth Morrison, Callum Pettit, Kye Petersen, and Sammy Carlson.
The terrain here is big, big, big. Huge glaciers, 5,000 ft. runs, and crazy terrain abounds. We flew into bluebird weather for three day and got right to work. The boys began by sessioning some natural terrain near some ice. Pillow lines are also in abundance here. We are doing a ton of exploring and discovering new terrain and lines every day. It is refreshing to be in a new area with fresh terrain everywhere.
We have found some pretty sweet lines that are on the hitlist. Stay tuned for the latest from Ripley Creek.
