I have found my new go-to boot. The Dalbello Krypton Pro ID Boots are where it’s at when it comes to performance and comfort.
I took my new Krypton Pro’s to my friend Dennis Meeker, the store manager at Christy Sports in Boulder, CO, and with his extensive boot fitting ability and the Intuition ID Themo Custom Pro Liners, I left the shop with a perfect fit. I hate having to take my boots back in for extra adjustments and months after my fitting, they still feel great. So, from a comfort standpoint these boots don’t mess around. I highly recommend going with the ID version.
They’re definitely comfortable which is great, but it gets even better when it comes to the Krypton Pro’s performance. These boots are super responsive, stable and the energy transfer is unparalleled. You’ll get pinpoint precision all over the mountain and in high-consequence situations where it matters most, they’ll always deliver. I really was blown away that I could have a pair of boots that felt broken in right away and performed better than any other boots that I have ever owned. I am super aggressive on the hill and these boots have yet to let me down.
I am not the most-techy guy when it comes to my boots and put a lot of trust into a boot fitter who knows how I like to ski. I need highly-responsive boots to ski the way I do and am sold on the Krypton Pro’s. Don’t overlook these boots and you’ll see why Sean Pettit also rocks these exact boots.
