REI To Open Jackson Hole Location in Summer 2021

Jackson Hole, Wyoming has always been known as a melting pot of outdoor and adventure sports, and now a new name is joining the fray. Recreational Equipment, Inc. (REI) has announced they are opening a new store in Jackson next summer, which would its first Wyoming location. The new 15,000-square-foot store will be located in the Powderhorn Mall and include a full-service bike, ski and snowboard shop for maintenance and repairs as well as REI’s traditional retail environment. The location at 974 Powderhorn is the space formerly occupied by Lucky’s Market.

“Jackson is an incredible outdoor community offering year-round activities from world class skiing and snowboarding in the winter to expansive hiking, biking and camping in the summer,” said Janet Hopkins, REI regional director for the mountain district, in a press release. “Jackson is the ideal place to serve our more than 41,000 lifetime members in Wyoming and the millions of people who adventure in the region every year.”
