Yeah, we know it wasn’t ideal that our current ski season had to end early. I mean nothing beats skiing in a T-shirt on a sunny day in May or June. However, anyone with an Ikon Pass has something extra to look forward to next year: Alterra added New York’s Windham Mountain and Oregon’s Mt. Bachelor to the list of resorts on their pass. Windham is only two hours from New York City, pretty sweet for all you city dwellers who need an escape from the madness. Mt. Bachelor is a destination of its own right, so add it to a PNW roadtrip you might be scheming up. Plus, it’s Sage Cattabriga-Alosa’s home turf, so maybe you’ll run into him?

Buying an Ikon Pass will grant you seven days of access (or five days on the Ikon Base Pass) to Windham and Bachelor. The mountains bring the total number of resorts on the Ikon Pass to 43.
