There will also be price freezes or reductions on other things like cafeteria specials, waterpark admissions, certain lodging packages, food and beverage items, golf rounds, and ski-and-ride school programming.

This announcement comes as a direct response to the "inflammatory environment across the US economy over the past several years."

"We might not be able to fix this issue ourselves, but we’re going to try and make getting here and enjoying yourself as easy as possible," says Steve Wright, Jay Peak's general manager.,

Jay Peak is making an effort to make the resort accessible to more people by putting a pause on cost escalations seen across the ski industry and giving the market "a chance to catch its breath," as prices for nearly every good and service have increased.

A full list of price reductions and freezes will be available on Jay Peak’s website by June 29.
