19th Annual Powder Awards Ceremony on Thursday

The 19th Annual Powder Awards are on Thursday, and TGR’s film, athletes, and contributors are all well-represented. TGR’s Far Out has been nominated for Movie of the Year, Best Cinematography, and Best Post Production. Sage Cattabriga-Alosa, Hadley Hammer, Nick McNutt, and Dane Tudor have been nominated for Best Powder based on their Far Out segment in BC’s Purcell Mountains, and photographer Nic Alegre has been nominated for Photo of the Year twice for the photos he took in Monte Lussari, Italy.

After an impressive performance at the iF3 awards earlier this season, hopes are high that the Powder Awards will go similarly. The reader’s favorite skiers will also be honored, having already been voted upon in the annual Powder Poll.

Stay tuned for updates on the outcome of the Awards, and thanks for your support!
