Though they're rarer than they are out west, powder days in the Northeast illicit a giddiness in the locals unlike anywhere else. And so, when a dumping of 16 inches of blower graced Mad River Glen in Vermont last season, the Ski The East crew took advantage of the all-time conditions, lapping the resort's iconic single chair and shredding its cliffs, waterfalls, and tasty trees.
