Within the weird subculture that is mountain biking exist even more highly polarized subcultures. Enduro, DH, cross country, you name it. While they all involve rolling around on dirt aboard a two-wheeled machine, sparks would fly if you dared confuse a DHer with an endurbro or a lycra-clad weight weenie.
The funny thing though, is that bikes these days are attempting to bridge that gap more than ever. With Enduro bikes descending just as well as a DH rigs, XC bikes are catching up just as fast. With the release of their new aggressive-XC bike the Epic EVO, Specialized would like to remind you that XC can be cool too. I mean tabletops and mini-whips aboard a spritely 120mm-travel race whip? That’s not bad.
