In recent years, Blanchard’s been stepping up her surf game, and now you can see how far she’s come. With twenty-two years of experience under her belt (her dad taught her how to surf at four years old, pushing her into the waves by Hanalei Pier on the northern shore of Kauai), she’s mastering style, making the sport look deceivingly easy.
