Snowbasin Gets a Bike Park
Snowbasin Resort is stepping up its summer game. The Utah resort just announced a multi-year partnership with SCOTT USA that, along with making SCOTT the official helmet, eyewear, and bike partner of the mountain, also lays the foundations for a brand-new, lift-served bike park opening in 2026. Excellent news for Utah mountain bikers.
Construction on the Snowbasin Bike Park Powered by SCOTT begins next summer, signaling a major investment in the resort's warm weather operations. In its first season, the park will run off the Littlecat Express. From the top, riders can expect four to five trails suited for a range of abilities. The park will have everything from everything from mellow, beginner-friendly runs to intermediate and advanced flow trails littered with tabletops, step-downs, and wood features.
The park throws Snowbasin straight in the mix of Utah’s growing summer bike park scene. The resort says it plans to expand its trail network in future seasons.
SCOTT's Role
Starting in 2027, guests will also be able to rent SCOTT bikes directly from the Grizzly Center. The partnership extends beyond rental bikes, too. SCOTT will dial in Snowbasin’s winter and summer staff with helmets and eyewear. Season pass holders and employees will get special pricing offers.
It’s a seemingly natural fit for two organizations that share the same backyard. SCOTT USA’s headquarters sits just down the road in Ogden, and Snowbasin has long been a cornerstone of Northern Utah’s outdoor culture.

“This mountain is part of our local culture and a place where many of our employees, athletes, and customers ride year-round. We’re thrilled to bring our helmet and eyewear expertise to a resort that shares our passion for performance and innovation.”

For Snowbasin, the move is a nod towards building a true year-round mountain sports destination. Between new lift infrastructure on the horizon and now a full-fledged bike park powered by a respected brand in mountain biking, the resort is saddling up to be as much a summer playground as a winter one.
