Video: Slovakian Ski Racer Crashes into First at Adelboden

Slovakian World Cup skier Andreas Zampa took an unlikely route to the lead at Adelboden on Sunday.  Ignoring the conventional wisdom which dictates that staying upright on your skis is the best way to end a race, he took a fall right before the finish and slid over the line on his side.

Despite crashing, he took the lead with that run, but did not manage to finish his second, unfortunately preventing him from reaping the rewards of his unusual strategy.
