The experience of learning something new can be humbling. At its best, failure endows us an opportunity to grow and learn. With the help of a few bungee cords and a handful of friends, watch him battle against a particularly gnarly incline gap. Hundreds of attempts and a more than a few chunks of sacrificed skin later, he nails it. The payoff is as satisfying as it gets— but it’s the path of trial and tribulta along the way remind us why creative sports like skating send us into such fervor. Get stoked to get stoked.
