The restraint I’m using not to deploy the whole hashtag girl power is unreal. Emilie Siegenthaler’s downhill and pump track sesh have got me fist-pumping. But more than her utter badassness, I’m loving Emilie’s exuberance. She’s pumped, and her smile is contagious.
Emilie’s got it going on right now. The 30-year-old from Bienne, Switzerland is Pivot’s favorite Swiss National DH Champion, and she’s currently ranked 6th in the world for downhill biking. She’s fearless, living by the motto, “Fast is fun, fun is fast.”

Fairly new to mountain biking, I’m still working on easing my face out of the oh-sh$$ shape. Thanks to Emilie, I think I can loosen my locked jaw a little more next time; she makes the experience look as fun as walking into a cheesecake buffet that promises the more you eat the more toned you'll get. Just don’t cheesecake and ride. That’s a recipe for messy.
