She Digs – A Team of Female Riders Come Together to Build Trail

The outdoor recreation community has been dominated by men since its conception. However, female representation in outdoor sports has never been so strong and it is ever-growing! To contribute to this trend of seeing more women enjoying some stoke in the great outdoors, Brooke Goudy teamed up with Kristen Smith to organize a retreat for women who are actively working to increase women’s representation in mountain biking. Together, these women built trail, rode single track and connected with one another in Nederland, CO. It is refreshing to see such a female forward space in the outdoors, and we thank Brooke and Kristen for providing this opportunity for these lady riders.
