Search Continues for Missing Kayaker In Grand Teton National Park

Grand Teton National Park rangers are asking the public for assistance in locating a kayaker missing on Jackson Lake in Wyoming since Saturday, June 15. Rangers are attempting to locate a 43-year-old male from St. Paul, Minnesota, who was last seen kayaking on Jackson Lake with a friend on Saturday.

The two kayakers left Colter Bay around midday, planning to head to Waterfalls Canyon on the west shore of Jackson Lake. After losing sight of Dopkins around 2 p.m., the friend with him on the trip tried to return to Colter Bay but was stopped by the strong winds and instead landed at Leeks Marina where he reported his companion missing.
