In the first of three episodes going behind the scenes of the making of The Sammy C Project, Sammy Carlson heads to Revelstoke, British Columbia to find powdery pillow lines with Ben Moxham, John Spriggs, and Tim Humphreys. The crew quickly finds rotten avalanche conditions, and Sammy narrowly escapes an avalanche while building a backcountry jump.
Deciding to play it safe, the crew makes the call to leave the open backcountry and build some wild jibs in the trees low down. "You gotta make sure that if you're not feeling it, you just walk away."
