Sam Smoothy Talks About His Roots and What It Took To Become a Pro

Kiwi freeride legend Sam Smoothy headed back to his home mountains, New Zealand’s Remarkables Range, for the 2017 The North Face Frontier freeride competition. On his way, he tells us about what it took for him to become the athlete he is today, winning FWT events and living the dream filming with TGR. Hint: just like everyone else, he started small with a core group of friends at his home mountain and kept pushing his limits further and further.
