Sage Cattabriga-Alosa’s Let’s Take a Lap Drops You Into the Pressure Drop Universe

Sage Cattabriga-Alosa has dropped the first two episodes of his new "Let's Take a Lap" season, offering a raw, behind-the-scenes look at filming for TGR's latest film, Pressure Drop. These initial episodes dive into epic pillow lines in British Columbia with Nick McNutt and a cautiously optimistic first trip to the Alaskan spines in Valdez.

Sage Cattabriga-Alosa is back with a new season of his fan-favorite content series, "Let's Take a Lap". These first two episodes of the season offer a departure from the typical follow-cam format. They pull directly from Sage's filming trips from last season, giving viewers an exclusive look at the intense action behind TGR's newest film, Pressure Drop. The goal, as always, is to build up the team's confidence and performance, starting slow and gaining trust in the mountain.

Episode One: Diving Into the Pillow Canyon

The first episode takes us deep into the interior of British Columbia, a region known for its unique terrain. Specifically, Sage and Nick McNutt join Dan Dean at Stellar Heli in Kaslo, BC, to explore some truly unique features. They find themselves navigating massive pillow lanes that appear like snow-covered staircases, with overhanging pillows on both sides.

Skiing pillows is inherently unpredictable. You can plan only so much; after a point, you're simply along for the ride. The action and technical skill on display here perfectly capture the high-stakes environment that defines TGR's Pressure Drop. Watch the full Nick McNutt athlete edit from British Columbia now.

Episode Two: The Alaska Build-Up

Episode two shifts the focus to one of the most demanding skiing locations on the planet: Valdez, Alaska. This is a raw, behind-the-scenes look at the first day of filming in spring 2025 with TGR, flying with Pulseline Adventures. The objective on any Alaska trip is to ease into things.

The conditions were good, but they were also a little unpredictable. This variability came after about three weeks of sustained high pressure. This kind of unpredictable snow can add another layer of complexity to an already high-risk environment. The crew, including athletes Maggie Voisin, Molly Armanino, and Colter Hinchliffe, was committed to building confidence. This episode highlights the necessary patience, coordination, and mental focus required to operate at this level. It shows the crucial moments before the action, where the mountain demands everything. Valdez doesn’t give anything away for free—immerse yourself in the full Valdez segment now.
