Robin Goomes Defends Her Title at Red Bull Rampage 2025
Popular Stories
The world's best free-riders are once again converging on Virgin, Utah for the biggest show in mountain biking. To put it briefly, Red Bull Rampage is the Kings and Queens of mountain biking.
In 2025, freeride star Robin Goomes took home the top spot for the second year in a row. Hannah Bergemann finished just behind in second, and Georgia Astle rounded out the podium in third. The ladies are charging harder than ever.
Only six years after Red Bull Formation went down in 2019, it's incredible to see how far women's freeride has come in such a short time. Six years later, the proof is in the pudding. For some perspective, 2025 marks only the second year that women have their own full scale rampage contest.
Keep an eye out for the Men's action tomorrow.

Goomes Locks It Down Again
Coming in as defending champ, all eyes were on Goomes to deliver another winning run. Deliver, she did: Goomes put together a blistering run featuring a suicide no-hander, backflip, crankflip, and another no-hander. She capped it off with a heavy backflip step-down, a super technical trick that requires all kinds of commitment. The judges scored her run an 89.50, putting her ahead of out Bergemann by a razor-thin 0.17 points.
Extra Credit Awards
- BFGoodrich Toughness Award: Cami Nogueira, for returning from a practice-day injury.
- DECKED Digger Award: Chelsea Kimball’s crew, for rebuilding the massive “battleship” feature.
- McGazza Spirit Award: Hannah Bergemann, voted by her peers for positivity and perseverance.
- Best Trick: Kirsten Van Horne, for a suicide no-hander off her big mid-mountain drop.
The women's Red Bull Rampage 2025 pushed freeride to heights unfathomable only a few short years ago. The bar’s been raised again. And the roster is only getting deeper. We can't even imagine what women's freeride will look like in another 5 years.
