Antoine is a total boss. If you haven't heard of or seen his riding before, you should probably retreat back to your remote mountain cave. He stomped the first ever double back on a downhill bike, just learned cashrolls, can do cork 7's, and is working on some of the craziest acrobatic-bike tricks you will probably ever see. Needless to say, the dude has some cojones.
Antoine stopped in to Jackson on his way to Crankworx at Whistler, and I got a chance to catch up with him and spin a lap on Teton Pass.
Antoine spent the winter down in Utah, slayin' it with Scott rider Niko Vink. The edit is awesome... worth a watch. He then traveled back to France, trained, and has been bouncing around to a lot of contests. Worth noting, he threw down a double backflip tuck-no hander at 26 Trix. Honestly, when I talk about his riding, I sound like I'm narrating a video game.
Antoine is a great dude to spend some time with. We spent the day joking around, get our bike nerd on, and obviously getting rowdy on the trails. If you ever see him out at a contest, give him a shout. It is a friendly reminder that these dudes aren't gods, but like any other biker on the trail. Just way fucking better.
