Marcus Goguen’s Historic Win at 2024 Freeride World Tour in Verbier: The Double Drop That Redefined Freeride Skiing

This is, respectfully, insane. 

Marcus Goguen won at the FWT Event in Verbier on Friday, (the 2024 YETI Xtreme, if you care.)This mindblowing run is what sealed the deal. Marcus's line starts calm enough, as he drops into a very exposed face and picks his way through rocks. He pops a tasty 360 off a big cliff drop, then heads for previously uncharted territory. Carving a brand new line in the day's competition, it's the double drop he stomps that will be remembered for generations. Stick around for the double drop, I promise you it is well worth it. 

Happily, we can enjoy Marcus's POV of this one for repeated viewing. Thanks to this 19-year-old menace, we just witnessed a fateful day in freeride history.
