Parking Reservations Now Required at A-Basin on Weekends

Colorado's Arapahoe Basin is officially flipping the switch on its new parking rules this weekend.

Starting today, Saturday, January 17, A-Basin’s parking reservation system goes live for the 2026 winter season, bringing a paid, pre-book model to weekend warriors getting after it.

From here on out, parking reservations are required for anyone driving to the mountain on Saturdays and Sundays. General reservations cost $20 when purchased online and are required across all lots. Reservations open the Monday before each weekend at 2 p.m. and remain available through the day of, pending availability.

The Admin Lot now runs $40, while The Beach, the resort's premium, ski-in ski-out parking zone, carries variable pricing depending on demand. Accessible parking reservations remain free and are available in both the Early Riser and Admin Lot.

A-Basin is also keeping some incentives alive. Free carpool parking is available in the Easy Riser, High Noon, Last Chance, and Upper Last Chance lots for vehicles arriving with four or more passengers. Load the rig, split the gas, and save 20 bucks.

Midweek, it's a different story. Monday through Friday parking remains free and operates on a first come, first served basis, just as it always has.

For those who would rather skip the reservation system entirely, or who don’t want to pay to park, A-Basin continues to point guests toward public transit. The Bustang Snowstang serves the resort with departures from Denver Union Station, Federal Center RTD Station, and the Wooly Mammoth Park & Ride.

Crowds, powder mornings, and parking chess have long been a part of the weekend resort experience. A-Basin is no different. Starting this weekend, add reservations to your gear list.
