Protect Our Winters Action Fund Announces New Endorsements

As wildfires devastate the West, POW AF is dedicated to electing environmental champions to Congress.

With just under 100 days to go until Election Day, Protect Our Winters Action Fund (POW AF) proudly announced its endorsement of congressional candidates. They are committed to mobilizing their supporters this election season to elect climate champions. The endorsed slate features nine candidates from seven different states, each bringing diverse backgrounds but sharing a unified commitment to preserving their state’s outdoor spaces and taking decisive action on climate change.

As wildfires relentlessly sweep through the Western U.S., the critical need to tackle climate change has never been clearer. These candidates are ready to take decisive action in Washington, D.C., safeguarding our natural landscapes and outdoor recreation opportunities for future generations.

The lineup includes: Monica Tranel for Congress and Sen. Jon Tester in Montana; Sen. Jacky Rosen in Nevada; Sen. Martin Heinrich in New Mexico; Caroline Gleich for Senate in Utah; Rep. Ruben Gallego for Senate and Jonathan Nez for Congress in Arizona; Jessica Morse for Congress in California; and Adam Frisch for Congress in Colorado.
