Professional Athletes Get Scared Too

When we think of professional athletes, we don't often associate them with the word 'afraid'. But even professional athletes get scared when trying new things. For surfer Jojo Roper and climber Nina Williams, hanging out with each other means getting a little out of their comfort zones. For Williams, who is the only woman to send six different highball boulder projects on Earth, topping out a 50-foot wall is way more inviting than hanging out in the ocean. For San Diego surf king Jojo Roper, getting barreled in a huge wave is far less scary than climbing a rock face. This short film from our friends at Sierra Nevada Brewing Company chronicles the two athletes teach each other something new.
