Pressure Drop: Norway Segment
Popular Stories
The fall line has been Teton Gravity Research's global pursuit for three decades, and the newest film, Pressure Drop, carries that tradition from Jackson Hole powder to Alaskan spines. A major highlight of this 30th annual film is the journey to the stunning Lofoten Islands in the Norway segment, featuring athletes Jim Ryan and Madison Rose Ostergren. For Jim, this segment carries the weight of redemption, as it marks his return to the Norwegian mountains following a dangerous close call during the filming of TGR's Beyond The Fantasy. Now, with a dialed focus, Jim, joined by Madison, who's known for attacking huge objectives—squared up with this unique Arctic challenge, ready for a full-throttle experience.
Together, they skied off Hingraftinden, the tallest mountain in Lofoten, which demanded perfect precision to navigate a terrifying 400-foot ice pitch mid-line, and also further cemented their legacy by a ripping descent of Vestiden, pushing boundaries in a way that truly defines TGR's mission.
