Pressure Drop: Grand Targhee Park Segment

A deep dive into the TGR Big Air segment featuring Olympic-level talent Maggie Voisin, Grace Henderson, Kirsty Muir, and Troy Podmilsak absolutely demolishing the Grand Targhee jump line with massive spins and airtime.

The latest TGR segment to drop from the archive is a clinic in modern freestyle skiing and snowboarding. We traveled to Grand Targhee Resort, a legendary powder haven known for its deep days and dramatic Teton views, to film a park session that delivered pure gold. The talent on display was undeniable: we had Olympic slopestyle veteran Maggie Voisin, rising star Grace Henderson, the incredibly dialed Kirsty Muir, and Big Air specialist Troy Podmilsak. The mission was simple: take a world-class park and treat every feature like it was built just for them.

Masterclass in the Mountain West

Grand Targhee's park crew absolutely threw down, shaping features that challenged even this high-caliber roster. When dream conditions show face, you drop in full throttle. The setup at Grand Targhee allowed these athletes to approach the jumps with incredible speed.

This segment is all about pushing limits and maximizing the "special meter." Troy Podmilsak, a true Big Air specialist, consistently launched rotations that had the film crew holding their breath behind the lens. His ability to combine height, speed, and complex rotation is astonishing.

Similarly, Kirsty Muir and Grace Henderson put on a masterclass in airtime and style. Every jump was a showcase of pure athleticism and creativity. Kirsty's consistency and Grace's effortless flow remind us that the future of freeskiing and snowboarding is already soaring. These are the days we live for, when the combined energy and talent of athletes like these translate into an unforgettable segment. Hit the link below to watch the crew go airborne.

The Pillars of the Production

The ability to capture this special moment was only possible through dedicated partnerships. A huge acknowledgment goes to Grand Targhee Resort and their park crew. Their essential support ensured the big air features were dialed and ready, allowing the athletes to execute their vision. In addition, Norrona and Volkl were crucial partners. SunCruiser, Tincup Whiskey, and Nissan also supported the entire Pressure Drop production.
