While big players like Alterra and Vail Resorts are eyeing Mt. Bachelor, two locals are stepping up with a community-driven plan to take the reins. Dan Cochrane and Chris Porter just made waves by announcing the formation of Mount Bachelor Community Inc., making serious strides toward the acquisition.
In their latest update, dropped last night, they shared plans to launch a website, details on how folks can invest, and their work with legal, financial, marketing, and operations pros. They've also locked in a kick-off party for October 12th at Drake Park to rally the community behind the effort.
