POV: Base Jumper Survives Parachute Malfunction

File this one under nightmare fuel. An experienced BASE jumper took off from a classic exit on Italy’s Monte Brento only to realize his lines were tangle when his parachute deployed. He struggles to regain control of the canopy before slamming into the ground thousands of feet below. Miraculously, the jumper survived the impact with just a leg injury and cut hands, and was airlifted to safety.
