The weight of the body is only felt when cutting deep g-turns in the powder, the rest of the time a feeling of weightlessness takes over when ripping down the fall line. The wind whips past, getting tubed by engulfing snow all around, the cold wind touching your face. Time doesn’t seem to hold the same boundaries when skiing down the mountain,
the distant valley is an obscure thing below, which is of the past,
the present is ever-changing with the different terrain and the dancing snow,
and the future becomes both. The true joy is the now...the pow.
Gratitude for a great day with David Poole, Odie Pierce, Kira Brazinski, Jason Malczyk!
