<p><em>Pressure Drop</em> captures that fleeting space between calm and chaos — when breath slows, vision sharpens and the mountain demands everything. It’s the moment before gravity takes over.</p>

<p>Teton Gravity Research is proud to present &#8220;Beyond the Fantasy,&#8221; its 29th annual ski and snowboard film. <strong>This year, we&#8217;re diving headfirst into the whimsical imagination that our athletes embrace to turn improbable mental images into reality</strong>. Mountains provide the ultimate canvas for our community to evolve dreams into truth, and with no lack of adrenaline-pumping action, this film is also a celebration of the contagious camaraderie and joyous absurdities that make riding on snow a way of life. Join us as we take you beyond the fantasy.</p>


Beyond The Fantasy


<p><strong>Ski lore is riddled with stories, sometimes of unknown origin, describing plausible but extraordinary past events.&nbsp;</strong>Often shared on chairlifts, the skintrack, or over a beer, these legendary tales, whether it be mythical storm cycles, heroic feats, or whispers of fantastical terrain, all contribute and shape our present experience. For 28 years Teton Gravity Research&nbsp;has&nbsp;been traveling the globe with the best athletes to the most incredible locations often based on this fabled history to uncover the experience…and sometimes creating legends of our own along the way.</p>

<p> TGR’s 26th annual film release <em style="background-color: initial;">STOKE THE FIRE</em> explores our athletes’ evolution within skiing and the pure joy that manifests from that process. The stoke means different things to different people based on where they are in their evolution. For some it is about committing to a new world, a lifestyle, and the friendships that blossom from that commitment. The choice to enter this world is a spark, and with every new experience the fire grows. With more knowledge comes more exploration, both physically and geographically, that helps to understand what those raw experiences connected with nature do for the soul. With more experience an examination of our shared history becomes important, and ultimately some of us might want to test our limits at the upper echelon of what is possible by drawing upon the sum of our knowledge and experiences. While the answers we find are different for everyone the pursuit of this evolution is something sacred, the pursuit is what stokes the fire. </p>

<p> For 25 years TGR has focused on turning Make Believe into reality, from exploring powder stashes in our backyard playground to first descents on unnamed peaks, the ethos of “live the dream” has defined our adventures.</p>

Join the crew in the Slovenian Alps for over-the-head cold smoke and watch an 11-year-old rip Jackson Hole. Discover the alien landscape of Girdwood, Alaska in January and see Sean Jordan ride into Crested Butte on a black stallion to shred the Southern Rockies.
